In celebration of Canada's th birthday, Trading Post collaborated with the Fort Langley National Historic Site to bring you a pale ale that is as easy drinking as Canadians golden west trading post nice.
A crackery malt flavour and the aroma golden west trading post BC Hop Company's local Lumberjack hops create this crisp balanced, no nonsense beer. InJames McMillan, along with twenty-four other men, began construction of the original Fort Langley 4-kilometers west of the current site. This German style golden blonde lager features a subdued hop profile with a light malt character. Regarded as the pinnacle of brewing achievement, this crisp, easy drinking beer is made from the golden west trading post Bohemian floor malted barley and Hallertau Golden west trading post hops.
Flavours of tropical fruit, pomelo and grapefruit evolve into pine and resin bitterness on the finish. Armed with a double barreled fowling piece, he came face to face with three bears. Brewed with dark roasted malt, Centennial hops and Republica Roasters coffee, this jet black oatmeal stout features notes of chocolate and espresso. Huge malt flavour from the Golden Promise and Munich malt create a highly drinkable ale with just enough Cascade hops to balance out the sweetness. Ignoring the outrageous golden west trading post, James married the woman he loved and fathered two daughters with her. Known as the quintessential artisanal brew, this farmhouse style Saison, golden west trading post notes of apricots, citrus and spice. Brewed using Bohemian pilsner malt and Mosaic hops, this complex and refreshing beer shimmers a golden straw colour and is perfect for farmers.
Captain James Cooper, a Hudson's Bay Company employee involved in the cranberry trade fell out of favour with HBC after he was caught trading cranberries under the table. This wheat ale is kettle soured with Lactobacillus and features a medium malt body with a bold tart cranberry flavour. Brett Saison This farmhouse style Saison features funky and white wine notes from wild yeast. Effervescent and golden in colour, this ale offers flavours of stone fruit and just a hint of spice ABV: Its our 2nd birthday!
